Aikido Necklaces
We began our aikido pendant line when some ladies from our dojo got together for lunch to plan our winter seminar. Our Sensei brought some wonderful jewelry components and made bracelets for us all to wear. These bracelets showcased our individual feelings for aikido - things like strength, passion, focus, and other virtues that aikido either helps us attain or represents for us. In the coming weeks, my daughters and I began making these aikido jewelry pendants as well as other jewelry in aikido themes to share with the visitors to our winter seminar. We nearly sold out at the seminar, and they were so popular, that we built this web site to share our aikido jewelry with the rest of the world. |

Origami Peace Crane Earrings
Our beautiful everlasting peace crane earrings were inspired by International Peace Day. I was invited into my daughter's 3rd grade class this year to teach the children how to make peace cranes in a celebration of International Peace Day. As I was taught in my elementary school many years ago, I brought with me the story of Sadako Sasaki and the 1000 paper cranes. My daughters were so intrigued by this young girl, just as I had been as a young girl, and we ventured to make 1000 peace cranes ourselves. As we made them, we used our own method of preserving them in jewelry resin and began making them into origami peace crane earrings, origami peace crane necklaces, and origami peace crane hair sticks.

We have handmade jewelry in Martial Arts and Japanese themes. Our family makes by hand all of the jewelry and gifts you will find on this site. We have original designs and new and unique methods for creating them. From our illustration pendants with martial arts themes, to our Japanese paper jewelry and even real Japanese paper origami made into everlasting pendants through our special method, our jewelry is beautiful and unique.
